...because I feel like I need to submit SOMETHING.
I did the poster for Pienlehtimarssi of Tampere Kuplii comic fest. There's not much artistic merit to this because I used this pic by Jules Chéret (one of my fav artists might I add) as a base for the whole poster, just changing the concept.
The concept being, I'M SUCH A CLASSIC BEAUTY (.................. ._______.) and still I always draw myself like this. I actually just made this up as I went along making the poster and it started making sense, so the girl in the pic has no resemblance to me whatsoever.
BUT ISN'T IT AWESOME BEING ABLE TO DRAW YOUR COMIC SELF IN A POSTER THAT WILL BE DISPLAYED IN EVERY SINGLE LIBRARY IN WHERE I LIVE? Haha isn't it just :'D
I feel like a dork.
Anyhoo, more submissions hopefully coming up soon, I'm painting some of the reguests people gave me in this journal entry. And requests are still open!

Oi onpa kivaa ja virkistävää ja piristävää ja mukavaa ja ihanaa nähdä sarjisfestareihin liittyväänä julisteena jotain muutakin kun sellasta naivistista sekoilua, jossa on psykedeeliset värit. Tyylikäs on!
